View Resolution

A resolution calling for safety improvements at the Kansas Ave, 8th St. and Allison St. NW intersection, including: 1) Shortening the crosswalks with bulb-outs at each corner 2) Installing pedestrian refuges on Kansas Ave NW 3) Converting crosswalks in the intersection into raised crosswalks 4) Installing stormwater retention infrastructure where possible, and 5) Requesting a DDOT study and concepts for potential redesigns of the intersection, including a center median along Kansas Ave NW, a traffic light, or re-routing traffic to be one way on 8th St., Allison St., or both
