Description

On July 22, 2026, ANC 1E supported the Office of the People’s Counsel’s advocacy for affordable, transparent utility rates and fair allocation of infrastructure costs. The resolution asks the Public Service Commission to prevent costs created by data centers and other large-load customers from shifting to residents, and asks DC Water to explain its proposed FY2027 and FY2028 rate increases and how customer assistance will be strengthened.
