Description

On July 22, 2026, ANC 1E adopted testimony asking the D.C. Council to impose transparency and evaluation safeguards on DC Health’s rodent fertility-management pilot. It asks the Council to require separate measurement of fertility-control treatments, obtain a public briefing on methods and risks, prevent expansion until interim evidence shows effectiveness and safety in urban conditions, and convene a public roundtable with independent experts.
