Description

Resolution urges ONSE, the DC Council, and the Mayor to develop, implement, and fund a citywide comprehensive and community-centric strategy to prevent gun violence, based on the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform's recommendations in reports commissioned by the District; the resolution also calls on the District's leaders to support and professionalize violence interrupter programs.
