Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B takes note of the following: ? The Commission has the ability to provide grants to community organizations for projects that benefit the residents of ANC 4B and do not duplicate District Government Services. ? Resolution #4B-16-1102 created an award limit of $500.00 ? Grants exceeding $1,000 have been approved by the Commission previously. RESOLVED: ? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B eliminates the award limit of $500. ? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B increase the grant award from a maximum of $500 to approved award amounts subject to the Commission’s discretion, subject to a vote at a properly noticed public meeting at which a quorum is present.
