That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B calls on the DC Council’s Committee on Business and Economic Development and Committee on Executive Administration and Labor to promulgate legislation to add a spend-down allowance when calculating the adjusted gross income of applicants eligible for the senior or disabled tax credit to the current Code. This approach will provide relief for this demographic facing financial constraints due to fixed incomes and medical expenses. ?
