? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B supports the MoveDC plans to complete the bike lane on Kansas Avenue NW by closing the gap between Chillum Place NW and Blair Road NW. ? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B calls on the District Department of Transportation to expeditiously complete the bike lanes on Kansas Avenue NW, if possible in time for the expected opening of the Metropolitan Branch Trail, Fort Totten to Takoma segment, in 2024. ? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B calls on the District Department of Transportation to also include installation of lighting improvements for the Kansas Avenue underpass of the Metrorail/CSX rail corridor, which would further enhance the comfort and safety of bicyclists and pedestrians that use this important east-west crossing. ? That Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B calls on the Mayor and Council of the District of Columbia to provide necessary funding and direction in the Fiscal Year 2023 budget for the District Department of Transportation to expeditiously complete the bike lanes on Kansas Avenue NW.
